Small World Labs & Protech Discuss Social Networking with Non-Profits in the United Kingdom

Last week, Small World Labs and it's partner Protech Computer Systems, a provider of member management solutions to the non-profit and associations sector in the United Kingdom, conducted a series of presentations to directors of membership and marketing of non-profit companies based in England.

"It was a great opportunity for us to strengthen our position in the UK market and our relationship with Protech," said Michael Wilson, CEO of Small World Labs. The presentations covered the types of value that can be captured and created by organizations when operating their own branded community. John Brindley, the Director of Membership and Business for the Institute of Physics (a joint Small World Labs and Protech customer) spoke about the Institute of Physics' experience operating a branded professional network on the Small World Labs platform and provided several examples of things they have seen and done thus far.

"There is a lot of synergy between the requirements and purpose of social networking and general member management and marketing for non-profit organizations," added Mark Trouth, Managing Director of Protech.
